City of Kennesaw, Courthouse Renovation and Addition
Kennesaw, GA
Structural engineering and design of a two story 8,900 SF structural steel and light gauge metal courthouse addition with bell tower. The project also included an assessment of the existing building to meet seismic and progressive collapse performance. In addition to designing for gravity and lateral loads, the new state of the art addition was detailed to integrate seamlessly with the existing historic courthouse.
